ARTUR SZOLC BIOGRAPHY
Artur Szolc was born in Warsaw, Poland in 1973. He pursues multiple career paths – he is a musician (drummer), tattoo artist, painter, and writer. He start selling paintings 3 years ago in the biggest auction House in Poland DESA UNICUM and fiew smaller auction houses  in Poland ( Art in House, Art of Poland).

As a musican  Artur recorded over 30 albums on drums and percussion with Polish mainstream and underground musicians. As a seasoned tattoo artist, he works with the most famous artists, musicians, journalists, football players, and models in Poland. Artur is a very big fan of metal, rock, and ambient music. With his first rock band Annalist, he played as a support before Marillion. Together with Soulburners, he was a part of big metal show in Poland, playing on the same stage with Judas Priest, Morbid Angel, Exodus, Vader and many more. Szolc is also a co-founder of a music project called “Music Inspired by” – “Tarot”, “Zodiac”,”Alchemy” and „Slavs” albums recorded with his friends.  In June 2021 Michal Lapaj`s of Riverside new solo album „Are you there” will be relased, where alldrums and percussion parts have been recorded by Artur. All of his albums are  available on CD , LP and streaming channels also.
Inspirations for his paintings revolve around metal and rock music, dark style, dirt of world, death, and horror.The greatest inspiring painters for Artur are Salvador Dali, H.R. Giger and Zdzisław Beksiński.

His first painting exhibition was held on 21 December 2019 in the very heart of Warsaw city – Nowy Swiat 62 street. The event was also a concert of Inside Again, where Artur played drums and promoted “Nightmode” album along with the band. The exhibit was a success – several original paintings and many signed reproduction paintings were sold. Artur lives in Warsaw with his wife Aneta and three kids: Gabriela, Aleksandra and Filip. With not only his kids in mind, he published “Wiersze rzeczne i dorzeczne” – a collection of poems for children, illustrated by his wife Aneta. He loves American cars and forest hiking. He is also a cat lover.
